Biografie
Mircea-Grigore EREMIA, nascut 04/10/1940, în orasul Târgovişte, Judetul Dâmboviţa; doctor inginer (1977), profesor emerit (2011) la Universitatea Naţională de Ştiinţă şi Tehnologie Politehnica din Bucuresti, Facultatea de Energetica, unde a introdus cursuri noi: ”Tehnologii avansate in SEE FACTS şi Inteligenta Artificiala”, “Retele electrice inteligente”, “Retele electrice la tensiune continua”. A contribuit la realizarea a 15 contracte internaţionale şi 35 granturi naţionale. A obţinut Premiile Constantin Budeanu [2002] şi Henri Coanda pentru Ştiinţe aplicate [2017] acordate de Academia Română. Pentru întreaga activitate desfăşurată în cadrul Comitetului Power Electronics al CIGRE, a primit în 2021 premiul CIGRE Honorary Member. De asemenea, pentru responsabilitatile de presedinte al Chapterului IEEE-PES şi ulterior a Sectiunii Romania IEEE i s-a acordat titlul de Life Senior Member. A fost reprezentantul român în cadrul Grupului de Reflexie al Platformei Tehnologice pentru Reţelele viitorului din cadrul Comisiei Europene. A fost membru şi expert, pentru promovarea tehnologiilor avansate Smart Grids şi FACTS, al Advisory Board of Technology al Companiei EMCO din India.
