Biografie

Date biografice: născut la 22 martie 1963, Lugoj, judeţul Timiş. Diplomă de doctor, Facultatea de Automatică şi Calculatoare din cadrul Universităţii “Politehnica” din Timişoara – 1996. Diplomă de licenţă, Facultatea de Matematică din cadrul Universităţii din Timişoara – 1993. Diplomă de merit, Facultatea de Electrotehnică din cadrul Institutului Politehnic “Traian Vuia” din Timişoara, specializarea Automatică şi calculatoare – 1987. Profesor universitar titular la Departamentul de Automatică şi Informatică Aplicată din cadrul Universităţii Politehnica Timişoara (UPT). Cercetător ştiinţific gradul I (CS I) şi şef al Laboratorului de Ştiinţa şi Ingineria Datelor din cadrul Centrului de Cercetări Tehnice Fundamentale şi Avansate, Academia Română-Filiala Timişoara.
