EXPERIENȚA PROFESIONALĂ

Nicolae Herişanu s-a născut la 22.11.1965 la Cisnădie, Jud. Sibiu, Romania.

A obţinut in 1990 diploma de inginer, specializarea Tehnologia Construcţiilor de Maşini in urma finalizării din pozitia de şef de promoţie a studiilor desfăşurate la institutul Politehnic „Traian Vuia” din Timisoara.

In anul 1999 a obtinut diploma de doctor inginer in ramura de ştiinţe inginereşti „Mecanică tehnică şi vibraţii mecanice”, iar in anul 2014 şi-a susţinut teza de abilitare in domeniul CNATDCU „Inginerie mecanică, mecatronică şi robotică”, obţinand calitatea de conducător de doctorat.

In prezent activează la Universitatea Politehnica Timişoara unde incepand din anul 1990 a parcurs toate treptele ierarhiei didactice de la asistent, şef de lucrari, conferenţiar şi in prezent profesor universitar. In paralel cu cariera universitară a derulat activităţi de cercetare in cadrul Academiei Romane Filiala Timişoara, incepand cu anul 2001, unde in prezent activează ca şi cercetător ştiinţific şi şef de laborator la laboratorul de Vibraţii din cadrul Centrului de Cercetari Tehnice Fundamentale şi Avansate – CCTFA de la Academia Romană, Filiala Timişoara.

Este autor şi coautor la peste 150 de lucrări publicate in diferite jurnale şi proceedings-uri de conferinţe naţionale şi internaţionale. Domeniul său de interes include in principal studiul sistemelor dinamice cu ajutorul metodelor analitice originale propuse in literatura de specialitate, studiul fenomenelor acustice şi de vibraţii.

Prof. Nicolae Herisanu este director al Laboratorului de Acustică şi Vibraţii acreditat de organismul naţional de acreditare RENAR cu certificat de acreditare LI-747, care pune la dispozitţia beneficiarilor din mediul economic şi industrial incercări / măsurări în domeniul zgomotelor şi vibraţiilor.

A fost distins cu premiul „Aurel Vlaicu” al Academiei Romane in anul 2017 pentru monografia “The Optimal Homotopy Asymptotic Method. Engineering Applications”, Springer Verlag-2015 şi este laureat al premiului AGIR – Timiş „Cartea Tehnică 2012” pentru monografia “Nonlinear Dynamical Systems in Engineering. Some Approximate Approaches”, Springer Verlag-2011.

A fost expert evaluator pentru organisme naţionale/internaţionale pirntre care CNCSIS, ANCS, UEFISCDI, Leonardo da Vinci, Ministry of Development-Republic of Serbia, este evaluator şef RENAR şi evalutor tehnic pentru incercări de acustică şi vibraţii şi membru CNATDCU 2016-2018; 2020-2025 (Comisia nr.17 – Inginerie mecanică, mecatronică și robotică și inginerie genistică și de armament).

A fost/este membru in Editorial Board la jurnale internaţionale cotate Web of Science: Romanian Journal of Acoustics and Vibration; Mathematical Problems in Engineering; Symmetry; Mathematics; Frontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics; INMATEH.

A fost recenzor la peste 90 de jurnale internaţionale, printre care: Acta Mechanica, Nonlinear Dynamics, Alexandria Engineering Journal, Applied Mathematics and Computation, Applied Mathematical Modelling, Chaos Solitons & Fractals, Mathematical Problems in Engineering, Computers & Mathematics with Applications, European Journal of Mechanics, Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik, International Journal of Mechanical Sciences, International Journal of Non-linear Mechanics, Communications in Nonlinear Sciences and Numerical Simulation, Energies, Meccanica, etc.

Este autorul a trei monografii publicate de editura SPRINGER:
• 2011 – „Nonlinear Dynamical Systems in Engineering. Some Approximate Approaches” – prezentă in 422 biblioteci universitare din intreaga lume (conform catalogului international al bibliotecilor www.worldcat.org)
• 2015 – „The Optimal Homotopy Asymptotic Method. Engineering Applications” – prezentă in 298 biblioteci universitare din intreaga lume
• 2021 – „The Optimal Auxiliary Functions Method for nonlinear dynamical systems” – prezentă in 167 biblioteci universitare din intreaga lume
Prof. Nicolae Herisanu este Chairman al conferinţei AVMS-Timişoara şi Editor al publicaţiei „Proceedings of the Acoustics and Vibration of Mechanical Structures-AVMS” 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013 (indexata ISI-Web of Science) , 2015, 2017 (indexata ISI-Web of Science), 2019, 2021, 2023, 2025 – ultimele 5 ediţii fiind publicate de jurnalul „Springer Proceedings in Physics”, toate acestea fiind indexate de SCOPUS.
