Biografie
profesor emerit (2023) la Universitatea Naţională de Stiinţă şi Tehnologie Politehnica Bucureşti (UNSTPB), Facultatea de Electronică Telecomunicaţii şi Tehnologia Informaţiei (ETTI), Departament Telecomunicaţii.
Absolvent: Institutul Politehnic Bucureşti (IPB) – 1967; Universitatea Bucureşti- Facultatea Matematică-Mecanică – 1976;
Doctor inginer :Institutul Politehnic Bucureşti (IPB) -1980.
Activitate: cursuri universitare, cercetare şi proiectare in domeniul reţelelor şi serviciilor de telecomunicaţii fixe şi mobile: arhitecturi, tehnologii, protocoale, software pentru management şi control, tehnologii IT&C: 4G/5G, SDN, NFV, UAV, IoT, V2X.
Life member -Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), ACM member
Director/coordonator/cercetător in Centrul de Cercetare pentru Sisteme, Reţele şi Software in Telecomunicaţii (CCSRST, 2000-2025) – din UNSTPB.

Opera științifică
Activitate de cercetare şi proiectare in domeniul reţelelor şi serviciilor de telecomunicaţii fixe şi mobile: arhitecturi, tehnologii, protocoale, software pentru management şi control, tehnologii IT&C: 4G/5G, SDN, NFV, UAV, IoT, V2X. In cadrul acestor activităti a elaborat in calitate de autor sau coautor numeroase lucrări stiinţifice şi tehnice.
