Experienta profesionala

Vasile Sima, n.21 octombrie 1949, com. Lita, jud.Cluj. În perioada 1967-1972 urmează cursurile Institutului Politehnic București-Facultatea de Automatică și apoi între 1973-1978 absolvă și cursurile Universității București-Facultatea de Matematică. În perioada 1978-1983 efectuează stagiul de doctorat la Institutul Politehnic București, în specialitatea ”Automatizări în procese electrice” cu teza ”Contribuții la realizarea sistemelor adaptive cu model etalon”. Din 1972 a desfășurat activități științifice în ICI București: CP I (1990), Secretar al Consiliului Științific (1990-1995), Vicepreședinte al Consiliului Stiințific (1995-2003). Între 1977-1993 este cadru didactic asociat al Institutului Politehnic București.

Este autor si co-autor al mai multor cărți și rapoarte tehnice în domeniul automaticii, inclusiv pachete de programe dedicate: cinci cărți, peste 150 de articole publicate în reviste de specialitate din țară și străinătate. Este membru a numeroase asociații profesionale: AMS (American Mathematical Society )-SUA, membru sénior al IEEE etc.
